Job Overview

This is a full-time, hybrid position that offers a mix of remote and in-office work, with a flexible schedule of 2-3 days on and off. As a Project Associate, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our team of healthcare professionals, ensuring seamless operations and contributing to the success of our revenue recovery efforts. Key Responsibilities

  • Retrieving patient medical records from various hospital systems, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the process
  • Generating and preparing patient itemized bills in appropriate formats for internal and external audits, adhering to strict deadlines and quality standards
  • Extracting and entering necessary information from/to hospital patient accounting systems, maintaining data integrity and confidentiality
  • Making phone calls to post-acute healthcare facilities to obtain information needed on patients, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Running and creating reports, analyzing data, and identifying trends to support revenue recovery efforts
  • Assisting with any other information gathering or data entry tasks as needed by the recovery team, showcasing flexibility and adaptability
  • Scanning and indexing documents, ensuring accurate and secure storage of sensitive information

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
  • Proven experience in data entry, medical records, or a related field, with a strong understanding of healthcare operations and revenue cycle management
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to create complex spreadsheets, charts, and reports
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
