About the Role: Customer Service and Operations Associate

We're seeking an exceptional Customer Service and Operations Associate to join our dynamic team at blithequark. As a key member of our customer-facing team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring that our customers have an outstanding experience with us, from initial contact to long-term relationship-building. Your expertise and passion for delivering top-notch customer service will be instrumental in helping our customers consolidate their retirement accounts, build confidence in their financial futures, and achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries, resolving issues, and offering personalized support to ensure a seamless experience
  • Act as an advocate for our customers, gathering and sharing feedback with our product and engineering teams to inform our product roadmap and drive continuous improvement
  • Collaborate closely with all members of the blithequark team, including product, engineering, and operations, to ensure a cohesive and customer-centric approach
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements, applying this knowledge to enhance our customer service offerings and maintain compliance
  • Work flexibly to meet customer needs, including occasional evening or weekend work to resolve customer issues and ensure prompt support

Requirements and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • At least 4 years of relevant experience in a customer service or client-facing role, preferably in the financial industry
  • FINRA licenses (e.g., Series 6, 7) or a strong willingness to obtain them
  • A genuine passion for helping people achieve their financial goals and improve their overall well-being
  • Familiarity with customer service best practices, tools, and technologies
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working in a startup or similar dynamic organization is a plus, as is a strong adaptability and willingness to learn and grow with our team

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with retirement account consolidation, financial planning, or a related field
  • Knowledge of industry-specific regulations, such as ERISA or SEC guidelines
  • Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) software, helpdesk tools, or other customer service technologies
  • A strong understanding of financial markets, investment products, and retirement savings options

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits:

  • An annual salary range of $45,000-$52,000, depending on experience
