HR Generalist (Remote - Temporary To Full-Time)
Position Overview: The Human Resources Generalist has the role of running the daily functions of the HR department, including administering benefits, pay, and enforcing company policies and practices. The Human Resources Generalist will also provide support to the Talent Acquisition function of the HR Department, as needed.
• This is a temp-to-hire hourly contractor role with the potential to transition into a full-time, permanent position
HR Generalist Required Education, Skills and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field, 2-4 years of experience within a Human Resource function, preferably in a healthcare organization, administering Talent Acquisition, benefits, and employee relations.
• The ability to communicate effectively, multi-task and work under pressure is the key to success in this position, which also requires high attention to detail and a commitment to achieving consistent customer satisfaction.
• Knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines
• Multi-site HR experience a plus
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and a high level of professionalism when working with sensitive information and difficult situations.
• Servant leadership approach toward external and internal stakeholders
• Excellent organizational skills
• Proficient knowledge of computers and software such as:
• Microsoft Windows OS
• Google Suite
• Word
• Excel
HR Generalist Essential Functions/Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):
• Reviews, tracks and documents compliance with mandatory training and performance reviews.
• Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including, but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition and morale; training and development.
• Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations and investigations.
• Maintains compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
• Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management and employment law.
• Assists with payroll processing as-needed
• Connects with and builds relationships with Regional Office Managers and Office Managers
• Oversees workers compensation and FMLA processes.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
