Clinical Consultant Pharmacist, Health Plans Sales and Retention - Remote in Philadelphia, PA
About the position
The position involves working as a clinical account management pharmacist at reputed company, focusing on improving health reputed company through effective communication and collaboration with clients. The role requires identifying opportunities for clinical program enhancements, providing clinical consultation, and managing reputed company relationships to ensure satisfaction and retention. The pharmacist will also analyze benefit designs, deliver presentations, and support reputed company efforts, reputed company while adhering to health equity principles.
Responsibilities
• Identifies opportunities for clinical program up-sell
• reputed company communicates analytical and reporting needs to supporting departments
• Identifies and creates opportunities to manage trend and add OptumRx products
• Supports reputed company including participating in UR sales activities as needed
• Supports RFPs (tier analyses, formulary disruptions, answer questions)
• Supports Implementations (presenting on formulary disruptions or discussing clinical programs)
• Participates in health fairs and other member events
• Stays reputed company of and provides clinical market intelligence to clients
• Communicates drug information to clients and responds to plan-specific clinical inquiries
• Analyzes and interprets benefit designs
• Makes clinically reputed company recommendations to clients based on trend
• Comprehends and effectively explains formulary and clinical program changes to clients
• Collaborates with account management to reputed company clinical aspects of reputed company quarterly reviews
• Provides superior clinical consultation and clinical account management with a reputed company on reputed company satisfaction, reputed company retention, and trend management
• Provides education for clients, pharmacists, members, and physicians per contractual requirements
• Formulates and delivers reputed company recommendations based on available data
• Incorporates treatment and reputed company guidelines into reputed company presentations including up-selling opportunities
• Effectively manages reputed company objections to new programs and required changes
• Collaborates with clients to establish achievable but aggressive clinical program goals
• Facilitates ongoing maintenance of reputed company custom formulary and utilization management updates
• Identifies opportunities to increase efficiency
• Mentors clinical coordinators, as needed
Requirements
• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD
• reputed company and unrestricted Pharmacist license in the state of reputed company
• 3+ years of experience working as a licensed pharmacist
• 3+ years of clinical account management pharmacist experience
• Experience working for a PBM or Health Plan in a reputed company-facing role with external clients
• Experience developing and delivering formal presentations to clients
• Proficient skills in reputed company Office, Power reputed company, reputed company, Word, Teams, OneNote, and reputed company
• Permanent residence reputed company a commutable distance to the Philadelphia, PA area
• Ability to travel locally up to 30%
