Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced PR and Social Media Manager to lead our public relations and social media strategy across all brands under Consumer Genius Inc. This individual will be responsible for shaping our public image, building our online presence, managing communications with media and influencers, and driving engagement through creative, data-backed campaigns.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of digital storytelling, brand positioning, and media relations, with a proven track record of amplifying brand awareness and engagement.
Key Responsibilities
• Public Relations & Communications
• Develop and execute a comprehensive PR strategy to strengthen the Consumer Genius brand across North America and the UK.
• Manage all media relations — including press releases, interviews, media kits, and speaking opportunities.
• Identify opportunities for brand exposure through partnerships, events, and editorial placements.
• Serve as the main point of contact for journalists, media outlets, and industry influencers.
• Craft and maintain a consistent brand narrative across all public touchpoints.
• Social Media Strategy & Execution
• Develop, manage, and grow Consumer Genius’ & Subsidiaries social media presence across LinkedIn, Instagram, X (Twitter), Facebook, and other emerging platforms.
• Plan and execute campaigns that drive engagement, brand awareness, and lead generation.
• Monitor social trends and conversations to proactively position the brand.
• Oversee content calendars, copywriting, and creative direction for social content.
• Analyze performance metrics to refine strategies and report on ROI.
• Reputation & Crisis Management
• Monitor online sentiment and manage responses to public inquiries or issues.
• Develop strategies for crisis communications when needed.
• Collaboration
• Work closely with marketing, creative, and executive leadership teams to ensure alignment across messaging and campaigns.
• Coordinate with external PR agencies or consultants when required.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
• 3–5+ years of proven experience in PR and/or social media management (agency or in-house).
• Strong network of media and influencer contacts preferred.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
• Experience managing social media analytics and scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout, Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Campaign Manager).
• Knowledge of performance marketing, fintech, or lead generation industries is an asset.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-driven environment.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
