You will be the first point of contact for many of our customers, and your role will be to resolve their queries, answer their questions, and provide them with the best possible service. **Key Responsibilities** As a Customer Service Representative, your key responsibilities will include: * Handling customer inquiries and resolving their issues in a timely and professional manner * Providing information and assistance to customers regarding their flights, travel arrangements, and other related matters * Processing customer requests for ticket changes, cancellations, and refunds * Rebooking customers on oversold flights and during irregular operations * Performing customer registration and front seat tasks, including correcting oversold seat tasks and issuing updates * Issuing vouchers or coordinating with vendors for customer accommodations, meals, and transportation * Performing customer loading, including ticket lift or ticket lift/confirmation * Working door scanners and related duties, including pre-boarding, observing/checking carry-on items, and leave line models * Working jetways/spans for the purpose of boarding and deplaning customers * Making boarding and flight door declarations * Conveying domestic/global flight records * Performing customer service flight close-out systems * Accepting, checking, and labeling customers' baggage at destination points, full-service ticket counters, and premium ticket counters * Maintaining a schedule of flight loading process * Performing customer service hands-on training * Processing and completing visa-related exchanges at stands in the ticket counter area and activation stations * Helping customers with self-service kiosk registration and booth items handling at ticket counters * Managing lines at ticket counter stands and ticket counters * Clearing/confirming international reports at booths in the ticket counter area and activation stations * Accepting and activating customers' self-labeled bags at activation stations * Helping customers requiring special assistance or in-station; assisting boarding, deplaning, and shipping non-ambulatory travelers, special assistance travelers, or unaccompanied minors * Performing customer service work related to handling regional flights and project worker/ground handling arrangements or agreements * Having regular and predictable attendance on location, including fulfilling any compulsory overtime requirements * Answering and assisting during security and emergency situations * Furnishing connecting travelers with gate information * Providing quality customer service in a professional manner and according to Blithequark's standards * Adhering to company policies, procedures, and performance standards * Completing task-related stages of training * Complying with applicable laws (e.g. DOT, FAA, TSA) * Utilizing various internal resources/frameworks, including during customer interactions * Wearing uniforms as required by company policy * Reasonable accommodations may be made for qualifying individuals with disabilities. **Contingent upon your airport size, you may also perform the following:** * Performing Passenger Activity Control capabilities, including air-to-ground communication and Peak capabilities * Helping international passengers through customs/migration, including baggage reverify * Conveying tickets, international flight records, and customs/migration forms **All You'll Need for Success** To be successful in this role, you will need: * A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience * Bilingual language skills may be required in certain areas * A valid driver's license as required by local authorities * To satisfy FAA criminal background checks to qualify for unescorted access privileges to airport security identification display areas (SIDA), if applicable * To have the ability to obtain proper airport power or US Customs security identification, if relevant * Completion of a pre-employment drug screen, extensive personal investigation, or fingerprinting to meet company and security requirements * To be authorized to work in the U.S. **Preferred Qualifications** * A degree in a related field, such as hospitality, customer service, or business administration * Working knowledge of Sabre or other Traveler Service Systems * Past face-to-face customer service experience * Working in a high-speed environment **What You'll Get** As a Customer Service Representative at Blithequark, you will enjoy a range of benefits, including: * Medical benefits: On the very first day, you'll have access to your health, dental, prescription, and vision benefits to help you stay well.
