We are currently seeking an experienced Windows System Engineer and Automation Specialist to join our team, contributing to the automation development and Windows OS provisioning using Jenkins Pipeline and Ansible Playbooks.

About the Team
Our Web Systems Engineering team consists of 29 highly skilled engineers, including 2 consultants from Beacon Hill, all working together to push the boundaries of what is possible in cloud infrastructure. We are in the process of transitioning our tools from vRa to a more open-source focused approach, with Ansible at the core. This is an exciting time to join our team, as we embark on this new chapter in our technological journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of Windows OS provisioning using Ansible Playbooks and Jenkins Pipeline automation.
- Utilize PowerShell and GitHub to automate tasks and manage our cloud infrastructure, ensuring efficiency and scalability.
- Collaborate with the team to design, implement, and support open-source technology solutions, with a focus on Ansible and Terraform.
- Develop and maintain scripts for automation tasks, demonstrating a strong understanding of open-source technologies and their applications.
- Provide examples of script development via GitHub or work samples, showcasing expertise in automation and cloud infrastructure management.
- Participate in the planning and execution of projects, ensuring timely completion and high-quality outcomes.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in cloud infrastructure, automation, and open-source technologies, applying this knowledge to continuously improve our systems and processes.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- At least 5 years of experience in system engineering, with a strong focus on Windows Server administration.
- Proven knowledge of PowerShell and GitHub, with experience in public cloud automation using Azure or GCP.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience writing scripts with open-source technologies, with a preference for Ansible and Terraform.
- A demonstrated track record of supporting automation for Jenkins Pipeline and Ansible Playbooks for Windows OS provisioning.
- The ability to show examples of script development via GitHub or work samples, highlighting your expertise in automation and cloud infrastructure management.
