About the Opportunity

At blithequark, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Customer Success Manager to join our team. As a Customer Success Manager, you will play a critical role in driving the acquisition of new titles, upselling subscriptions, and providing ongoing client support to our growing base of content providers. You will be the primary point of contact for our clients, working closely with them to understand their needs, provide guidance and support, and ensure they have an exceptional experience with blithequark.

Our ideal candidate is a customer success rockstar with a passion for building strong relationships, driving growth, and delivering exceptional results. You will be responsible for establishing a book of business, driving the acquisition of new titles, and upselling clients into paying subscriptions. You will achieve this by identifying opportunities through data insights, getting ahead of potential pain points, quickly and succinctly addressing issues, and helping to develop resources and product improvements to better support client needs.

Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Success Manager at blithequark, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Driving the acquisition of new titles and growing subscription revenue through targeted engagement campaigns, ongoing and timely support, and education and sales initiatives.
  • Building a book of business from a high volume of inbound clients, with the freedom to bring in outbound leads, and developing a deep understanding of client persona types, expectations, challenges, and knowledge levels.
  • Engaging and supporting clients through a high volume of emails, meetings, and tickets, and identifying, improving, and sharing internal and external resources to help streamline processes and mitigate support needs.
  • Becoming a blithequark Brand Ambassador, providing product demonstrations and education through individual and group presentations, and confidently upselling clients into our Distribution Plus and Pro relationship levels.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product, to develop and implement strategies that drive growth, improve client satisfaction, and increase revenue.

  • Empathy: A deep understanding of clients' concerns and challenges, and the ability to build trust and strong relationships.
  • Metrics Obsessed: A strong focus on meeting and exceeding daily, weekly, and monthly goals, and a passion for driving growth and delivering exceptional results.
  • Problem-solving: The ability to identify issues and find creative solutions to meet client needs and expectations.
  • Product Knowledge: A deep understanding of blithequark's technology and services, and the ability to effectively address client inquiries, provide guidance, and offer relevant suggestions.
  • Adaptability: The ability to adapt to changing circumstances, such as new client requirements or product updates.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to effectively interact with clients, understand their needs, and convey solutions clearly.

Preferred Qualifications

In addition to the essential qualifications, we prefer candidates with:

  • Data Analysis: Basic proficiency in data analysis tools, such as PopSQL, Microsoft Excel, or Google Sheets.
  • CRM (Customer Relationship Management) Systems: Proficiency in using CRM software, such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or Zendesk.
  • Industry Experience: Experience working in the film or entertainment industry, or a related field, and a deep understanding of the distribution process, competitive landscape, and industry standards.
