Job Overview

The Data Entry Specialist will be responsible for performing daily reconciliation, trade, and transfer tasks for Alternate Investments. The key deliverables of this role include processing trade deal purchases in customer profiles, identifying and addressing breaks recognized between blithequark and fund companies or transfer agents, and processing Corporate Activity Activities. Additionally, the specialist will be involved in settling and reconciling transactions, processing and reconciling returns activity, and analyzing complex or escalated issues. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process trade deal purchases in customer profiles and identify/address breaks recognized between blithequark and fund companies or transfer agents
  • Perform daily reconciliation tasks, including settling and reconciling transactions and processing returns activity
  • Analyze complex or escalated issues and provide solutions or recommendations to management
  • Review and analyze client/advisor account exceptions and regulatory commitments
  • Reconcile breaks across BOS and fund companies, ensuring accurate and timely resolution
  • Provide exceptional client and business partner service, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following essential qualifications:

  • No prior experience is required, as we provide comprehensive training and support for the right candidate
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in data entry, customer service, or a related field
  • Knowledge of financial industry regulations and practices, including regulatory commitments such as 2340 and 15C3-3
  • Experience with Salesforce, Slack, or other customer relationship management (CRM) systems
  • Strong understanding of tax coding and corrections, with ability to analyze and resolve complex issues
