About the Role

The Technical Support and Customer Service Representative role at blithequark involves providing customer service support and resolving routine problems related to our client's products and services. As a remote worker, you will be working from the comfort of your own home during night shifts, focusing on delivering exceptional customer experiences through inbound and outbound calls and online interactions. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide inbound customer support using a call flow guide, ensuring that all customer inquiries are handled professionally and efficiently.
  • Resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and client products, utilizing your technical expertise and problem-solving skills to provide effective solutions.
  • Track, document, and retrieve information in databases, maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and issue resolutions.
  • Develop and maintain broad knowledge of client products and/or services, such as smartphones, tablets, computers, and wearables, to provide expert advice and support to customers.
  • Offer additional products and/or services to customers, identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell relevant solutions.
  • Deliver expert customer experiences, ensuring that all customers receive a positive and memorable interaction with our brand.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a strong focus on building customer relationships, excellent communication skills, and a technical aptitude. The following requirements are essential for this position:

  • 1+ year of customer service experience, preferably in a technical support environment.
  • Ability to work an evening or overnight schedule, with a flexible approach to working hours.
  • Technical support experience is preferred, although not essential, as we provide comprehensive training to all new hires.
  • High school diploma or GED, with a strong educational foundation in a relevant field.
  • Quiet, distraction-free environment to work from, with a reliable computer and internet connection.
  • Proficiency in fast-paced multi-tasking, with the ability to handle multiple customer interactions simultaneously.
  • Eagerness to learn new technologies, with a strong desire to develop your technical skills and knowledge.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and provide effective solutions.
  • Strong computer navigation skills and PC knowledge, with experience of using various software applications and tools.
  • Desktop or laptop for PC and internet testing, with a reliable internet connection (high speed, no wireless/hotspots or satellite).
  • Smartphone, with a valid U.S. address for residence, as you must reside in the United States or have a valid U.S. address to be eligible for this role.
