Job Overview We are looking for a proactive and organized individual to fill the role of Part-Time Order Entry Specialist, working 20 hours per week in a remote capacity. As a Part-Time Order Entry Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless flow of pre-order information to our provisioning team, working with various electronic order entry systems, and maintaining accurate records and documentation. Key Responsibilities Pre-Order Engineering (Tech Doc): Collect and validate technical information from customers to ensure accuracy and completeness. Prepare and maintain technical documentation for order processing, ensuring that all necessary information is up-to-date and readily available. Procurement (Electronic Ordering): Enter Access orders into electronic ordering tools such as CAFE, VFO, and Neustar, ensuring timely and accurate submissions. Manage and process orders for carriers including Lumen, ATT, Cox, and Comcast, and others, facilitating a smooth handoff to the provisioning team for service installation with the provider. Order Validation: Ensure that all orders are entered accurately and brought to a validated state, conducting thorough reviews and checks to prevent errors or discrepancies. General Administrative Support: Maintain accurate records and documentation for each order, ensuring that all necessary information is up-to-date and readily available. Communicate with internal teams to resolve any order-related issues, providing excellent customer service and support to both internal and external stakeholders. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following essential qualifications: Demonstrated proficiency in computer skills and ability to work in multiple systems simultaneously, with excellent navigation and troubleshooting skills. Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly, even if they involve complex or unfamiliar concepts, with a strong willingness to adapt and evolve in a rapidly changing environment. Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Prior experience in telecommunications is helpful but not required, although a basic understanding of the industry and its concepts is desirable. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting, with excellent self-motivation and discipline. Preferred Experience While not essential, the following preferred experience will be highly regarded: Familiarity with electronic ordering systems such as CAFE, VFO, Neustar, or similar, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and processes. Experience with carrier ordering processes for Lumen, ATT, Cox, and Comcast, or other major telecommunications carriers, with a strong understanding of the industry and its concepts.
