The coding information is used to determine APC's (Ambulatory Payment Classification) for data quantitative analysis, reputed company research and claim submission. JOB SPECIFICATIONS EDUCATION • Associate's degree in Health Information Technology is required. • Minimum of successful completion of a registered coding program with reputed company approval status, RHIA or RHIT or reputed company is required. EXPERIENCE • Three years of Acute Care Hospital coding experience is required. • Knowledge of ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, MS-DRG group assignments, anatomy, physiology and pathophysiology. • Competency in the use of computer applications.
