About Our Remote Pharmacy Services
Through our remote service, we serve acute-care hospitals, offering pharmacists the opportunity to practice hospital pharmacy outside of a traditional hospital setting. As a remote pharmacist with our team, you will utilize your clinical skills, including monitoring, dosing, and reviewing patient medication therapy, while leaving dispensing tasks to the hospital. Job Summary
We are seeking a highly energetic and clinically oriented Lead Pharmacist to join our remote pharmacy team. As a Lead Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in remotely servicing our clients' patients, ensuring continuity of care, and providing top-notch clinical services. This is a work-from-home opportunity with a 7on/7off overnight schedule, offering a unique work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities
• Remote order entry and CPOE order evaluation and verification
• Assure acquisition or renewal of all pharmacy staff licenses
• Perform as staff pharmacist as needed
• Physician and nursing consultations
• Clinical medication dosing services
• Review and monitoring of profiles and lab values for therapeutic outcomes
• Coordinate access to medications according to facility policy and procedures, and in compliance with state and federal laws and regulations
Lead Responsibilities
• Monitor workflows to ensure optimal order processing times are maintained through creation and management of account assignments
• Track account updates, revise due diligence forms and database, and communicate this information via a standardized communication form
• Identify educational deficiencies and implement a plan to address
• Schedule team staffing and adjust staffing to meet changing needs
• Complete account training with new employees; track account access
• Communicate with Director and/or Regional Director regarding account and IT issues, performance issues and excellence, and projects as assigned
Requirements and Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
• Active pharmacy license(s) in the state of residence as well as the state of original licensure
• Willingness to become licensed in CT, MA, ME, NH, NY, OH, PA, RI, and VT within 12 months
• 2-4 years of clinical hospital inpatient experience preferred
• Ability to gain reciprocity to additional states required for practice as business needs change
• Computer savvy to learn and perform successful operation of multiple pharmacy information systems
• Excellent communication skills to enable successful interactions with other healthcare professionals
• Ability to set priorities and work independently; courteous and team-oriented
• Flexible and adaptive to change in workload, equipment, procedures, and standards
Preferred Qualifications:
• Prior supervisory experience

Compensation and Benefits
Our compensation package is designed to attract and retain top talent. The anticipated hourly range for this role is $52.10 per hour - $74.39 per hour, with bonus eligibility. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, and retirement savings plans.
