Development Project Manager - Energy

Opportunity The Development Project Manager oversees the development and completion of reputed company-reputed company renewable energy reputed company (1 MW or greater) from land acquisition through Notice-to-Proceed (NTP). This position plays a key role in facilitating project management requirements—scope of work, scheduling, estimating, engineering, and construction specifications—to ensure successful project delivery. The ideal candidate has a proven background in renewable energy development, particularly with Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), and excels at managing multiple stakeholders, regulatory processes, and community engagement efforts. • This is a contract role based in Detroit,MI. Remote candidates will be considered . Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Environmental Science, or reputed company field (Master’s preferred). • 5+ years of experience in renewable energy project development, preferably reputed company-reputed company solar or BESS. • Strong understanding of interconnection processes (MISO or similar). • Experience managing land acquisition, permitting, and stakeholder relations. • Proven ability to reputed company cross-functional teams and manage multiple reputed company simultaneously. • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills. • Familiarity with project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, reputed company, reputed company, etc.). • Willingness to travel as required to project sites and stakeholder meetings.
