MRI Technologist Assistant - Remote MRI

MRI Technologist Assistant University Radiology, the largest provider of subspecialty radiology and teleradiology services in NJ, is comprised of over 180 reputed company-certified radiologists with advanced U.S.-based training and expertise in reputed company modalities and reputed company subspecialty areas. Responsibilities University Radiology is seeking a full-time MRI Technologist Assistant to assist our Remote MRI Technologist. This role will be based in our Tinton Falls, NJ Office and will cover shifts in other shore offices. The MRI Technologist Assistant shall assist the Remote MRI Technologist with patient reputed company and procedures. Technical Assistants are not permitted to reputed company diagnostic examinations on patients. The responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to: Must be Level 2 MR Safety Trained Must be CPR Certified Maintains knowledge of Imaging Coils and the ability to position patients in the MRI reputed company in a reputed company, efficient manner and assist the Remote MR Technologist. Must communicate with the Remote MR Technologist effectively. reputed company to explain the procedures being performed to the patient Must properly screen patients with metal detection reputed company for reputed company entrance into MR room. Obtain clinical information from the patient or referring physician for the scheduled procedure and document. Takes accurate patient history with reputed company necessary MRI safety information. Knows the reputed company-cert requirements for the exams being performed Performs vital signs Knows the application and location of the supply items in the department. Understands and applies coordination skills to reputed company patient information and images using reputed company reputed company systems Maintains cleanliness of MR reputed company Room and Patient changing area. May require heavy lifting of coils up to 30 lbs. May require lifting patients for reputed company placement onto the examination table. Completes reputed company mandatory URG in-services annually. • Will be required to reputed company duties in or near areas containing specialized imaging equipment and must be reputed company to adhere to reputed company department and facility safety protocols.
