Key Responsibilities

  • Collecting payments and handling patient inquiries regarding their medically billed charges
  • Providing exceptional customer service to patients, healthcare providers, and internal stakeholders
  • Navigating electronic medical systems and software programs to resolve patient inquiries and issues
  • Maintaining accurate and detailed records of patient interactions, payments, and resolutions
  • Participating in online team meetings, company Q&A forums, and training sessions to stay up-to-date on industry developments and best practices
  • Meeting daily quality and productivity quotas, as well as contributing to the overall success of the project

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service, preferably in the health insurance or healthcare industry
  • Excellent verbal, written, and social communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner
  • Previous experience working with electronic medical systems and software programs
  • Ability to read and understand Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) and follow up on denials and appeals
