About the Role
The Estate Planning Paralegal plays a vital role in our virtual estate planning process. You'll facilitate secure online meetings using NetLaw, ensuring seamless collaboration between clients, attorneys, and financial advisors. Your technical skills will be crucial in assisting clients with onboarding into the NetLaw system and scheduling meetings. You'll also draft, review, and support the execution of estate planning documents. Excellent written and verbal communication are essential to guide clients through the process. The ability to work independently, maintain organization, and prioritize confidentiality is a must with a strong attention to detail. A solid understanding of estate planning principles and flexibility will round out your qualifications for this rewarding role.

Core Responsibilities
• Maintain database of clients, financial advisors, and legal team; monitor progress; log activity; provide updates; enter/update data, etc.
• Communicate with financial advisors and clients to ensure they properly engage and complete required tasks.
• The ability to orchestrate and maintain a synchronized calendar for virtual meetings involving clients, attorneys, and financial advisors is crucial for this role.
• Monitor and respond to inquiries through the online support function (chat, email, and video meetings).
• A dependable and reliable demeanor is key to fostering trust with clients and legal team and ensuring adherence to deadlines and swift responses.
• Provide technical guidance to users on NetLaw system, video conferences tools, and other technology.
• Assist Attorneys with client support needs such as document drafting, preparing final documents, client follow-up communications, etc.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
• Assist in the oversight and training of legal assistants for the virtual practice.
Skills and Requirements
• 4+ years of experience in Estate Planning and drafting Estate Planning documents required.
• Prior experience with case and/or project management required. Including the ability to help coordinate multiple calendars.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Zoom; Basic proficiency in learning and navigating new technology systems.
• High level of organization, time management, and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Commitment to customer service and confidentiality.
• Team-player who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
