**Job Summary**
As a Chat Support Specialist on our remote night shift team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch customer support to our customers via live chat, phone, and email. You will be the first point of contact for customers with questions, concerns, or issues, and will work to resolve their problems in a timely and professional manner. This is a contract position, with a competitive hourly rate of $20.69 per hour.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Handle incoming chats, calls, and emails from customers with questions, concerns, or issues
* Provide accurate and timely responses to customer inquiries, using your knowledge of our products and services to resolve issues
* Troubleshoot problems and escalate complex issues to senior support team members or management as needed
* Use your problem-solving skills to resolve issues that may not have a pre-defined solution
* Maintain a high level of technical fluency, including typing speed of 40 WPM and proficiency in Google Sheets
* Use effective written communication skills to write clear and concise responses to customers, using our brand voice and tone
* Work independently, with minimal supervision, to manage your workload and meet performance targets
* Collaborate with other team members to share knowledge, best practices, and ideas for improving customer support
**Essential Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent amount of work experience
* 1+ years of work experience in a fast-paced customer service role in technology, hospitality, or grocery & convenience
* Highly motivated individual with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service
* Natural problem solver with the ability to think critically and outside the box
* Fluency in English, with above-average technical fluency
* Effective written communication skills, including top-notch grammar, spelling, and the ability to write both formally and casually
* Proficiency in Google Sheets and G-Suite, with bonus points for experience with Slack
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Previous experience in grocery & convenience, with a strong understanding of the industry and its challenges
* Experience working in a remote or virtual environment
* Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software and other customer support tools
* Certification in customer service or a related field
