Job Overview

blithequark is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Property and Casualty Customer Service Representative to join our team in Texas. As a remote worker, you will be responsible for fielding inbound communication from clients regarding their insurance needs, providing expert guidance and support to existing members, and ensuring that all interactions are handled with professionalism and courtesy. This is a non-sales based role, and you will not be required to engage in cold calling. Key Responsibilities

  • Field inbound communication from clients via phone, email, chat, social media, and other channels, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Utilize knowledge of personal lines insurance to assist members with quotes, new business, rating, policy, billing, payment, underwriting, contract and coverage provisions, and premium changes.
  • Conduct thorough research to understand clients' needs, asking clarifying questions to gather more information and presenting solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Correspond with customers, clients, insurance carriers, and internal sources to provide coverage information and policy recommendations.
  • Execute various client service transactions, including policy endorsements, certificates, binders, cancellations, and other tasks, ensuring that all actions are taken in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Adhere to performance metrics and quality standards, maintaining a high level of productivity and efficiency in all aspects of your work.
  • Provide expert solutions and recommendations to clients, leveraging your knowledge and experience to deliver exceptional customer service and support.

Essential Qualifications

  • Active Resident Property and Casualty or Personal Lines License.
  • Minimum 1 year of customer service experience, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional support and guidance to clients.
  • 1 year of call center experience, with a strong understanding of the principles and practices of customer service in a fast-paced environment.
  • High School diploma or GED, with a strong foundation in English, mathematics, and communication skills.
