Job Overview
We are excited to offer a 100% remote opportunity for a Customer Service Representative - Property and Casualty Insurance Specialist to work with our team. As a remote employee, you will have the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home, with a schedule that includes a combination of fixed and flexible hours. The initial training period will be conducted remotely, with a set schedule of Monday to Friday, 9:00 am - 5:30 pm EST, for two weeks, followed by one week of nesting. After the training period, you will be expected to work a flexible schedule between 8 am - 9 pm, Monday to Friday, with one weekend a month on a rotating schedule, eventually transitioning to a permanent shift.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage inbound email, chat, and phone inquiries from customers regarding property and casualty insurance policies, providing timely and effective solutions to their queries and concerns.
- Build strong relationships with customers, educating them on our products and services, and providing a exceptional customer experience that reinforces the value of blithequark's brand.
- Meet sales goals consistently by managing time and resources efficiently, handling interactions promptly, and minimizing wait times.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our products and services, staying up-to-date with industry trends and developments.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues, improve processes, and drive business growth.
Essential Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A current, active resident property and casualty insurance license (General P&C, not Personal Lines) in a minimum of 35 states, with the ability to maintain active licenses throughout the duration of your assignment.
- At least 2 years of sales experience, with a proven track record of success in a customer-facing environment.
- High school diploma or GED, with a strong foundation in written, verbal, interpersonal, and phone communication skills.
- Proven attendance reliability, with a flexible schedule that allows you to work evenings and weekends as required.
Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
- Proven sales success within an inbound service environment, preferably in a direct sales role.
- Insurance industry sales experience, with a deep understanding of property and casualty insurance products and services.
- Service industry and/or Contact Center experience, with a strong background in customer service and relationship building.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with deadlines, using MS Word, Excel, and Internet applications.
- Excellent tracking, follow-up, negotiating, and relationship building skills, with a demonstrated ability to consistently overcome objections.
