Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Solutions Engineer to join our team, focusing on Kubernetes (K8s) support and customer success. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate with new and existing customers, guiding them through the full customer life cycle, from presale to setup, installation, and ongoing support. Your expertise in Kubernetes, cloud computing, and containerization will be instrumental in driving customer satisfaction and ensuring the seamless integration of our solutions.
Primary Role and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with customers to understand their unique needs and provide tailored support and guidance throughout the customer life cycle
- Conduct presale activities, including demonstrations and proof-of-concepts, to showcase the value of our solutions
- Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes environments for customers, ensuring optimal performance and scalability
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation to facilitate knowledge sharing and customer self-sufficiency
- Provide expert-level support for customers, troubleshooting complex issues and resolving problems in a timely and professional manner
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Kubernetes, cloud computing, and containerization, applying this knowledge to continuously improve our solutions and services
Skills and Experience
To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong background in engineering and operations, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in systems, software, infrastructure, or related fields. Additionally, you should have at least 2 years of experience supporting external customers in a solutions, customer success, or support capacity.
- Proficiency in Kubernetes design, deployment, and management, including experience with AKS, EKS, and GKE
- Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, including compute, networking, and storage services
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Cloud-native expertise, with a deep understanding of cloud-based infrastructure and applications
- Linux skills, including Bash and Shell scripting, are essential
- Programming skills in languages such as Python, Go, or C are desirable
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and practices
- A degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline is ideal
