Job Overview

As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will be the primary point of contact for existing residential and commercial clients, providing assistance on a wide range of topics including general inquiries, product and service inquiries, billing questions, and other concerns. Your goal will be to deliver world-class customer service, diagnose customer needs and concerns, and provide creative approaches to resolve issues. This is a remote position, with the option to work onsite at our contact centers in Lakeland, FL, or Massachusetts, offering flexibility and convenience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to incoming calls from clients, providing exceptional customer service and support to resolve their queries and concerns.
  • Handle difficult customer calls in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that all issues are resolved efficiently and effectively.
  • Accurately enter information into our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, ensuring that all customer interactions are documented and up-to-date.
  • Communicate company policies and provide creative solutions to resolve customer issues, such as billing errors or service opportunities.
  • Display exceptional decision-making and problem-solving capabilities, taking immediate action to resolve customer concerns and provide alternative approaches to meet their needs.
  • Achieve monthly sales and product education goals by making recommendations from our healthy hydration portfolio, promoting our products and services to clients.
  • Use negotiation skills to provide alternative approaches to resolve customer issues, taking immediate action to retain customer support and ensure their continued satisfaction.
  • Provide primarily phone-based support, with the option to use live chat and other communication channels as needed.

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience, demonstrating a strong foundation in customer service and communication.
  • Minimum of 1-year previous customer service and/or call center experience, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Previous experience with live chat and/or customer retention is a plus, but not required, as we provide comprehensive training to ensure your success in this role.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, working efficiently and effectively in a remote setting with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to display business maturity at all times, maintaining a professional demeanor and providing exceptional customer service, even in challenging situations.

Technical Qualifications and Requirements

  • A dedicated workspace in your home, free from distractions and background noise, with a reliable internet connection and the necessary technical equipment to perform your duties.
  • Ability to set up and troubleshoot your remote workstation, including your computer, phone, modem, router, and other equipment, with prior experience preferred but not required.
  • Internet connection with a minimum of 100 mbps download and 15 mbps upload speed from a reliable internet provider (Cable, DSL, or Fiber Optic/FiOS providers only), with a direct Ethernet connection to your router/modem.
  • Ability to work in a tidy and organized environment, maintaining the confidentiality and security of customer information at all times.

Call Volume and Performance Expectations

As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you can expect to handle approximately 40-50 calls per day, with the goal of providing exceptional customer service and resolving customer issues efficiently and effectively. Your performance will be evaluated based on your ability to meet and exceed our customer service standards, including first-call resolution, customer satisfaction, and sales and product education goals.
