What this job involves:
Drive excellence in accounts payable operations for one of JLL's financial services clients. As Senior Finance Manager for A/P, you'll lead comprehensive financial processes that ensure seamless payment operations, vendor relationship management, and cash flow optimization across client’s extensive real estate portfolio.
This role combines strategic financial leadership with hands-on operational excellence, directly contributing to JLL's reputation as the premier real estate services partner for major financial institutions. You'll be instrumental in maintaining the highest standards of financial accuracy and efficiency while supporting the complex real estate requirements.
What your day-to-day will look like:
Oversee end-to-end accounts payable processes for client account, including invoice processing, approval workflows, payment execution and vendor statement reconciliation
Collaborate closely with finance teams to ensure alignment on payment priorities, budget adherence, and reporting requirements
Analyze A/P metrics and trends to identify process improvements, timely approvals and receipt of invoice as well as cost-saving opportunities across the account
Manage month-end and quarter-end closing activities, ensuring accurate accruals and comprehensive financial reporting
Direct and mentor junior finance team members while coordinating with cross-functional teams on account-specific initiatives
Implement and maintain internal controls and compliance procedures to meet both JLL and client standards
Responsible for monthly union invoices, ensuring all calculations are in line with each CBA and payments are made timely
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field with 7+ years of progressive finance experience
CPA certification or equivalent professional accounting credential
Extensive experience in accounts payable management, preferably in real estate or financial services environment
Demonstrated experience managing large-scale client accounts with complex financial requirements
Strong analytical skills with proven ability to identify trends and drive process improvements
Excellent communication and leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience working with banking or financial services clients
Knowledge of real estate industry practices and terminology
Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and financial modeling
Project management experience and familiarity with process improvement methodologies
Experience with automated A/P systems and electronic payment platforms
Strong understanding of internal controls and SOX compliance requirements
Estimated compensation for this position: 125,000.00 – 150,000.00 USD per year
This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
