Remote Audiologist
About the position Responsibilities • Provide quality care and aftercare of dispensing services such as hearing tests and hearing aid fittings. • Perform checks on hearing aids and other amplification devices, including troubleshooting and repairs. • Achieve practice growth with a strong sales mindset while maintaining ethical practice standards. • Engage in local community outreach and develop physician relationships to advocate for HearingLife. • Counsel patients on the purchase of hearing aids, devices, and accessories, understanding third-party payors and payment methods. • Meet monthly, quarterly, and yearly clinical finance targets in collaboration with the PCC and Manager. • Support Telehealth initiatives to expand patient care and product portfolio. • Maintain continuing education requirements based on state regulations. • Operate audiometric equipment and interpret results for patients. • Communicate test results and propose treatment in an easily understood manner. Requirements • Must be licensed in the state of Utah as an Audiologist. • Experience in providing audiology services and patient care. • Strong communication skills to explain test results and treatment options to patients. • Ability to operate audiometric equipment and interpret results. Nice-to-haves • Experience with Telehealth initiatives in audiology. • Familiarity with sales and business metrics in a healthcare setting.
