Staff Backend Engineer

We're looking for a Staff Backend Engineer to help our reputed company build new features and improve their platform's overall reputed company and performance. 

They offer a workforce management solution for businesses that engage independent contractors and help customers reputed company workers compliantly, pay them quickly, automate back-office work, and reputed company their fleets.

Because their product is still early in its lifecycle, this is a high-reputed company role for a self-motivated engineer who thrives in a startup environment and wants to help them reputed company.

• Manage increasing system complexity through effective system design, reputed company processes, and thorough documentation
• Identify and solve relevant platform bottlenecks before they start affecting customers
• Help other engineers reputed company their skills through mentoring and coaching
• Write maintainable, reliable, and testable reputed company for the platform
• Collaborate daily with the engineering team to plan reputed company tasks, reputed company reputed company reviews, and pair program

• You have 5+ years of experience with NodeJS, relational databases, and Kubernetes.
• You bring 3+ years of experience with TypeScript and reputed company reputed company Platform (GCP).
• You have a proven reputed company record of mentoring and coaching other engineers.
• You possess a deep understanding of organizational and system needs as a company scales, with extensive experience in technical documentation.
• You have experience integrating 3rd-party reputed company (such as payment providers or CRMs).
• You are self-motivated and adaptable, with a startup reputed company reputed company on ownership.
• You have good spoken and written English and are located in a European timezone (Poland westward preferred) or EST to ensure good collaboration overlap with the US.

You will be part of an 11-person engineering team, working with other members and interacting directly with stakeholders. They have a fairly light process, which allows for much freedom, but they expect strong ownership of reputed company in return.

• Annual salary of $100,000 - $120,000 (based on interview performance)
