Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Customer Service Representative to join our dynamic team at blithequark. This role is viewed as a developmental position, with the objective of acquiring the skills, proficiencies, and sustained performance to support our Digital Producers and Account Managers in retaining and servicing the blithequark book of business. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring seamless account management, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Obtain and maintain approved state licenses
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews of all bound policies
  • Process endorsements, certificates of insurance, and invoices
  • Address billing questions for new and renewal policies
  • Handle non-pay cancellation notices from carriers and follow up on payments due
  • Perform post-bind process and policy reviews
  • Identify cross-sell opportunities and coordinate account servicing
  • Collaborate with carriers and work within carrier sites to process billing and endorsements for clients
  • Demonstrate superior Microsoft Office skills and strong organizational, customer service, and time management abilities
  • Comfortably work with outbound dialing and engage in phone conversations with clients
  • Develop and maintain effective communication with clients via phone and email
  • Utilize multi-tasking skills in a fast-paced environment and work comfortably in a remote setting

Additional Responsibilities

  • Assist Producers and Account Managers in responding to alerts in the agency management system
  • Act as a concierge for clients post-bind, addressing billing and servicing questions
  • Proactively send emails to clients introducing their Account Manager and providing contact information
  • Facilitate the post-bind process, policy review, and maintain well-documented Agency Management files
  • Support the policy cancellation process and assist with customer servicing requests
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to delight clients in every interaction
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of processes in the agency management system
  • Prioritize and support Producers and Account Managers, while utilizing carrier trainings and coverage training
  • Build strong communication with Underwriters and address client needs in a timely and thoughtful manner

Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • Property and Casualty License
  • 1-2 years of relevant insurance experience
  • Familiarity with Customer Account Servicing in regulated/financial services experience (preferred)
  • High School Degree (required) and a 4-Year Degree (preferred)
  • Proficiency in Word processing, spreadsheets, email software, and other related programs
  • Experience working with 3rd Party or Agency management systems, Various Web Applications, Client or blithequark Agent portals, and other related online applications
