As a Senior Analyst, Content Material Valuation, you will play a vital role in assisting the Content Valuation & Analytics team in preparing record-driven analysis to guide arm's length pricing for our vast TV content library in home and worldwide markets across Disney-controlled linear networks and DTC services Hulu, Disney+, ESPN+, Star+, and Hotstar. This is a hybrid remote work opportunity, primarily based in Burbank, CA, with the flexibility to work from home.

**Responsibilities**
As a Senior Analyst, Content Material Valuation, your key responsibilities will include:
* Establishing arm's length-based content pricing and preparing quarterly close and economic planning deliverables for scripted and unscripted content certified with Hulu and Disney+ globally.
* Consolidating quarterly regional content valuation submissions and identifying key variance drivers and distilling effects into actionable insights for senior management.
* Assisting in preparing long-range and pricing planning deliverables, as needed.
* Serving as the primary point of contact to key stakeholders at DTC Finance, Studio Finance, Participations, and Controllership.
* Partnering with finance stakeholders to identify and improve process efficiencies and best practices.
* Curating and synthesizing large amounts of data to draw conclusions and make recommendations resulting in actionable insights.
* Mechanically tracking and maintaining content performance (including Nielsen scores, critical review scores, and industry awards) for broadcast and cable primetime applications.
* Participating in various ad-hoc projects to introduce you to new principles and improve your knowledge of key standards across the spectrum of content distribution and licensing.
**Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications:
* 3+ years of recent experience in financial analysis, finance, and/or 2+ years from a Big Four CPA firm.
* Self-starter, innovative, flexible, and proactive individual who is willing to pitch in anywhere needed.
* Ability to work under minimal supervision; potential to scope, identify, and execute price-driven procedures and process upgrades.
* Robust challenge control abilities with the capacity to manage and establish targets, manipulate multiple priorities, and pivot quickly based on the immediate needs of the business.
* Ability to build strong, collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders and communicate across all levels of management.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), strong financial modeling skills required.
* Required understanding and application of pivot tables and advanced Excel formulation such as INDEX, IF, VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, VSTACK, and nested IF statements.
* Ardor for the entertainment industry and television programming; content licensing experience is a plus.
**Training**
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Mathematics, Economics, or other quantitative discipline is required.
