**A Day in the Role**
As a Healthcare Data Entry Specialist with blithequark, you will play a critical role in processing various medical documents, extracting data, and entering it into our electronic database via Microsoft Excel or Microsoft Word. Your responsibilities will include:
* Processing incoming cases, extracting data, and entering it into the electronic database
* Working independently and in partnership with other team members to ensure that questions are addressed, documented, and cases are returned in a timely fashion
* Using critical thinking steps to determine next steps and reach out to clients via phone to obtain missing information
* Providing excellent customer service and client coordination over the phone
* Meeting productivity and quality standards in a metrics/quota driven environment
**Requirements and Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
* At least 1 year of remote work experience
* High School Diploma or equivalent
* Reliable high-speed internet
* Your own computer or laptop for use in this role (no Chromebooks)
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Ability to work in a metrics/quota driven environment
* Experience in healthcare, insurance, or claims is preferred
**Schedule and Work Environment**
As a 100% remote Healthcare Data Entry Specialist, you will work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM EST. You will be expected to work independently and manage your time effectively to meet productivity and quality standards.
