- Perform duties assigned by the Data Entry Manager, including answering phones and responding to orders, re-orders, and general customer inquiries.
- Handle and resolve client complaints and inquiries in a timely and professional manner, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Triage incoming faxes by facility/department and in accordance with cutoff times, prioritizing tasks and managing workload effectively.
- Clarify orders as needed, utilizing knowledge of brand name and generic medications to ensure accuracy and precision.
- Collaborate with the team to achieve goals and objectives, contributing to a positive and productive work environment.
Essential Qualifications
- Active NJ Board of Pharmacy, Pharmacy Technician License, or equivalent certification.
- Previous experience in pharmacy, with long-term care (LTC) pharmacy experience preferred.
- Knowledge of brand name and generic medications, including dosage forms, strengths, and indications.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Moderate to advanced computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic health records (EHRs) systems.
- Great telephone etiquette and communication skills, with the ability to interact with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders in a professional and courteous manner.
