Job Description:

We're seeking an experienced full stack software engineer to join our team at blithequark. As a key member of our development team, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable and efficient web and cloud applications. Your technical expertise and leadership skills will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our software development efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop scalable and efficient web and cloud applications using a range of programming languages and technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements, and develop technical solutions that meet business needs.
  • Lead code reviews and provide technical guidance to junior engineers to ensure high-quality code and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, technical specifications, and user guides.
  • Participate in agile development methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Identify and mitigate technical risks, and develop contingency plans to ensure project success.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve our software development processes and tools.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of operating systems fundamentals and mobile device support constraints.
  • Proven ability to drive complex, cross-functional projects, managing partnerships while staying hands-on technically.
  • Clear decision-making based on data rather than intuition.
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of engineering management experience.
