Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our sales team by accurately entering data into our SAP computer system, reviewing sales paperwork, and processing sales orders. This is a full-time position, working Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with a competitive hourly rate of $18.00+ per hour. Key Responsibilities

  • Enter data into the SAP computer system, including product numbers, sales orders, credits, and other relevant information
  • Review sales paperwork for accuracy against customer contracts and documentation
  • Process sales paperwork in the computer system and per applicable procedures
  • Release new orders and change orders to manufacturing
  • Verify finished goods (stock) requests and move pending stock as needed
  • Maintain master tooling files
  • Process obsolete lists as needed (at minimum twice per year)
  • Perform invoicing and filing of sales documents
  • Prioritize and organize workloads to meet deadlines
  • Answer phones and perform other miscellaneous duties as needed

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Ability to read sales forms and input data into a computer system with high accuracy
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional demeanor
  • Basic experience with Microsoft Office software, particularly Word and Excel
  • Resourceful in identifying and solving problems, with a positive and service-oriented focus
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following skills and qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Previous experience with SAP or other enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
  • Knowledge of sales order management and processing procedures
  • Experience working in a team environment with a focus on customer service
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices
