Our strategic civilian sales team is focused on retaining existing revenue, generating new business within existing accounts, and acquiring new business. As a Customer Administrative Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting our sales team and contributing to the success of our Government vertical.
Job Overview
The Customer Administrative Specialist serves in a supporting role for Civilian Markets at the state and local levels. In this role, you will be responsible for making outbound sales contact, pursuing sales leads, and developing a portfolio of buying customers. You will also be responsible for accepting orders, closing sales, maintaining customer records, and completing required documentation. Key Responsibilities
- Making outbound sales contact (including cold calling) and pursuing sales leads to develop a portfolio of buying customers
- Accepting orders, closing sales, maintaining customer records, and completing required documentation
- Identifying and qualifying prospective customers as well as recording sales prospecting activity in Salesforce
- Representing an assigned product line that may overlap other sales teams' territories, if applicable
- Working with territory/account, product/services, or sales processes with limited complexity
- Informing customers of new product/service introductions and prices
- Maintaining communication with the Sales Director and Team Lead
- Maintaining a proficient understanding of Accurint and the ability to demonstrate platform and discuss pricing plans
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess basic functional knowledge and skills in selling and account management, as well as the ability to deepen your knowledge of products and solutions. You should also be able to develop an understanding of key business drivers and apply this knowledge to your work. Additionally, you will need to be self-motivated, able to work independently, and proficient in the use of Salesforce and other internal operational systems.

- Basic functional knowledge and skills in selling and account management
- Ability to develop an understanding of key business drivers and apply this knowledge to your work
- Ability to multitask and respond effectively to changing priorities and/or situations
- Self-motivation and the ability to work independently
- Proficiency in the use of Salesforce and other internal operational systems
- Ability to present information in an appropriate style and make technical information clear
- Ability to persuade others/clients in standard situations
- Professional demeanor and strong work ethic
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in sales and account management, particularly in the government sector
- Knowledge of Accurint and other blithequark products and solutions
- Experience working with Salesforce and other internal operational systems
