Job Overview

In this exciting role, you'll be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to users for hardware, software, and system-related issues. Your expertise will be crucial in troubleshooting, problem-solving, and ensuring the smooth operation of equipment and systems. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support via phone, email, and in-person interactions, ensuring prompt and professional responses to customer inquiries
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and other peripherals, utilizing your technical expertise to identify and fix problems efficiently
  • Set up and configure both in-person and virtual meetings, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration
  • Utilize the ServiceNow ticketing system to log, track, and prioritize customer support requests, maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely resolution of issues
  • Install, configure, and maintain various software applications, staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends
  • Assist users with account setups, password resets, and access permissions, providing exceptional customer service and support
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to handle complex technical issues, sharing knowledge and expertise to resolve problems effectively
  • Maintain detailed documentation of procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps, ensuring that knowledge is shared and accessible across the team
  • Stay informed on the latest technology advancements, participating in ongoing training sessions to enhance your knowledge and skills

Shift and Work Schedule

This is a full-time position, working 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Please note that this is a temporary position, offering a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience and skills in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Relevant certifications (Microsoft, Amazon, CompTIA) or equivalent experience, demonstrating your technical expertise and commitment to ongoing learning
  • Proficiency with ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems, ensuring that you can effectively manage and prioritize customer support requests
  • Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, Mac, Linux, and mobile devices (Android, Apple), staying up-to-date with the latest operating systems and technologies
  • Familiarity with AV equipment, such as projectors and mixers (preferred, but not required), offering an opportunity to expand your technical skills and expertise
