Urgently Looking For Cybersecurity PMO
Role Summary: The Cybersecurity PM (PMO) manages the overall Client cybersecurity project portfolio, ensuring initiatives are executed on time, on budget, and in alignment with strategic goals. This role is critical for translating security strategy into actionable projects and reporting their status to stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manages the overall Client's cybersecurity project portfolio, driving execution and alignment with strategic goals.
• Develops and reports key performance metrics, project status, and risks to all Client's stakeholders.
• Maintain alignment with Cybersecurity Program Management Office (Cyber PMO) and enterprise PMO standards.
• Maintains the client cybersecurity budget.
• Ensures security participation and approvals are embedded as mandatory steps into all client activities and project lifecycles.
• Ensure cybersecurity projects adhere to policy, compliance, and audit requirements.
• Manages projects related to client's business continuity and disaster recovery planning, testing, and improvement from a cybersecurity perspective.
• Coordinate technical and functional resources, ensuring tasks are prioritized according to risk and business impact.
• Ensure secure project delivery from design reviews to go-live in compliance with the Secure SDLC process.
• Track milestones, budgets, and dependencies using PM tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet, ServiceNow PMO).
• Develop and present project dashboards, KPIs, and CSF 2.0 alignment metrics for executive reporting.
• Act as the bridge between technical security teams, IT, and business leadership.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in IT or cybersecurity project management.
• Proven experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
• Strong organizational, communication, and reporting skills.
• Familiarity with security frameworks: NIST CSF 2.0, NIST 800-53, ISO 27001, CIS Controls, COBIT, Zero Trust Architecture.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and risk-management skills
• Demonstrated experience managing security-focused projects (IAM, SIEM, EDR, Cloud Security, GRC tools, etc.).
• Exposure to AI governance and data-privacy initiatives (CCPA, AI risk frameworks).
• Experience with cybersecurity maturity assessments, roadmap development, or regulatory compliance projects.
• Relevant certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM).
