Job Overview

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Remote Customer Support Representative to join our team at blithequark. This full-time remote position offers an immediate start for the right candidate and requires a strong and diverse skillset in relevant areas to drive success. As a Remote Customer Support Representative, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care, driving business success, and promoting health and wellness through various initiatives and programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out direct patient care programs, including but not limited to Drug Treatment Management programs, Vaccination Services, and Payer and Pharma Adherence and Clinical Projects.
  • Drive the execution of various marketable strategies and ventures to guarantee business needs are being met.
  • Drive compliance and continuous quality improvement in the delivery of clinical pharmacy patient care and services by contemplating, assessing, and re-designing processes; monitoring and analyzing results; and implementing changes.
  • Ensure region pharmacies comply with regulatory compliance, standard operating procedures, and FDA guidelines.
  • Drive regional pharmacy financial performance by aligning business strategies to company financial objectives.
  • Implement and execute patient intervention pharmacy programs to maximize financial performance.
  • Support efforts on enhancing patient experience by increasing focus on healthcare services (e.g., patient consultation, medication management, drug treatment reviews, and retail, clinical, or health services, such as vaccinations, disease state management, and Specialty programs).
  • Provide expertise, resources, training, and support to pharmacists and field management.
  • Support staff training experiences and development opportunities.
  • Conduct data and clinical reviews and making strategic moves to ensure accuracy and propriety of medications.
  • Review drug accounts and patient profiles to ensure proper and safe medication treatment.
  • Provide individualized patient/supplier consultation.
  • Through the use of superior interpersonal skills, win the trust of patients by listening to their concerns and providing a sounding board for the pharmacy concerns.
  • Provide feedback regarding the effectiveness of the Client Maintenance Program, including comments from patients as the value of individual consultations.
  • Responsible for all inquiries, transactions, and issues which relate directly to patient treatment.
  • Provide clinical consultation and information to patients, physicians, and insurance plans as applicable.
  • Perform other work consistent with the job duties in this description as assigned by management.
  • Adhere to guidelines and procedures for all job duties to meet objectives.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures, including all HIPAA rules/regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with government, state, and local pharmacy regulations.

Essential Qualifications

  • Current Pharmacist license as conferred by the appropriate state licensing authority.
  • Experience propelling colleagues to research and determine issues.
  • Experience working with classified information.
  • Able to work non-standard hours, which may include evenings, holidays, and/or weekends.
  • Experience using time utilization skills, such as prioritizing/coordinating and following details and meeting time constraints of multiple tasks with varying completion dates.
  • Experience creating approaches to achieving goals with minimal oversight, depending on oneself to complete targets, and it is essential to decide when escalation of issues is necessary.
  • Experience providing customer service to internal and external clients, including meeting quality standards for services, and assessment of customer satisfaction.
  • Able to travel up to 10% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to acquire other state pharmacy licenses if necessary.
  • Knowledge of insurance plans.
  • Knowledge of computer operating systems, including Radio, Commitment, and Plus.
  • Basic level skill in Microsoft Excel (e.g., opening a workbook, inserting a row, selecting font and size, formatting cells as currency, using copy, paste, and save functions, adjusting text, selecting cells, renaming a worksheet, inserting a column, selecting a chart style, inserting a worksheet, setting borders, selecting page orientation, using spell check, or printing worksheets).
  • Basic level skill in Microsoft PowerPoint (e.g., inserting, reworking, hiding, and deleting slides, navigating between slides, expanding list level, adding, focusing, and editing text, changing views, inserting a table or a note, moving objects, printing frame view, or running a slide show).
  • Basic level skill in Microsoft Word (e.g., opening a document, cutting, pasting, and editing text, choosing font type and size, changing margins and section width, formatting, inserting bullets, pictures, and dates, using find and replace, fix, spell check, track changes, review sheet, or print capabilities).
