**Job Summary**
As an Experienced Data Entry Specialist – Home Depot Operations Support, you will be responsible for working collaboratively with our team to analyze complex data sets, identify trends and insights, and develop actionable recommendations to drive business growth. You will leverage your expertise in data analysis, visualization, and reporting to create high-quality dashboards, reports, and other data visualizations that inform business decisions. Your attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to communicate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner will be essential in this role.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Execute existing data entry and analytical tasks (30%)
* Use data analysis tools to create new dashboards, reports, and other specialized requests (20%)
* Ensure the quality of work output by demonstrating a high level of attention to detail (20%)
* Foster additional technical skills and domain expertise within the core functional team (20%)
* Present findings in easily understood ways, focusing on how the data analysis fits into the overall plan (10%)
**Direct Supervisor/Direct Reports**
This position reports to a Supervisor.
**Travel Requirements**
This position requires occasional travel under 10% of the time.
**Physical Requirements**
Most time is spent sitting in a comfortable position, and there is continuous opportunity to move about. Occasionally, there may be a need to move or lift light objects.
**Working Conditions**
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any adverse conditions would be rare and not hazardous.
**Essential Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Software Engineering, Math, Computer Science, or related field
* 2 years of work experience in data mining, statistical analysis, reviewing, and estimating
* Previous direct experience in investigating the relevant topic (e.g., Inventory network, Marketing, Operations, etc.)
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Work experience with SQL Server, Teradata, Prophet, or similar data set frameworks
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and presentation skills
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
