About the Role
As a Remote Healthcare Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will be responsible for handling incoming calls from members regarding their prescription benefits. Your expertise will include answering questions about copays, medication coverage, and prior authorization processes. Key Responsibilities
- Understand, apply, and communicate client-specific prescription benefit and pharmacy claim processing information to members

- Troubleshoot pharmacy claims in real-time, verifying information and entering allowed overrides as necessary
- Send documents to providers electronically, maintaining efficient communication and reducing delays
- Follow up with members through outbound calls, providing superior service and ensuring their needs are met
- Anticipate and address questions to prevent repeat calls, reducing customer effort and enhancing their experience
- Treat all customers with respect and empathy, demonstrating a genuine commitment to their well-being

Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- 2+ years of prior medical customer service experience, preferably in a pharmacy benefits or healthcare setting
- Excellent phone etiquette and typing skills (40wpm, 500kph), enabling you to efficiently and effectively communicate with members
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and internet, with the ability to review documents and navigate systems efficiently
