About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional to work as a Remote Night Shift Customer Service and Trip Assignment Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading non-emergency medical transportation company and make a real difference in the lives of our members. As a Trip Assignment Specialist, you will be responsible for assigning trips to dispatchers and Care Partners, building daily schedules, and coordinating transportation services. You will also be required to answer inbound calls, coordinate evening trips, and assist with administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Assign trips to dispatchers in the Health-E Rides system, approximately 700-900 per night
• Build dispatchers' daily schedules, taking into account breaks and lunches
• Determine which dispatchers are eligible for certain trips based on the language spoken by the member
• Stack trips to contracted Care Partners
• Answer inbound calls from members during evening hours
• Coordinate evening trips as they come in
• Assist with Care Partner-related administrative tasks, such as payment processing
• Assist with Level 1 administrative tickets in Zendesk

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have previous experience in dispatching and coordinating transportation. Healthcare experience is preferred, but not essential. You must be consistently reliable and able to work evening shifts, Monday to Friday, from 11:30 pm to 8 am PT. You should also have excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
