Job Description Summary
The Advisor, Customer Logistics and Supply Chain role is a critical component of our customer service team, providing a single point of contact for customers, shared services, sales, and product supply system (PSS) teams. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing planned and unplanned sales activities, assessing complex issues, gathering information from stakeholders, collaborating to create solutions, and communicating and implementing these solutions. Your expertise in supply chain operations, customer service, and problem-solving will enable you to make a significant impact on our customers' experiences and our business's success.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage planned activities and resolve issues that affect multiple orders/customers, determine solutions, and execute changes. Lead cross-functional meetings to resolve issues.
- Perform all customer service day-to-day work, manage escalated issues, and address service issues and opportunities/trends raised by customers, PSS teams, customer solutions, and account teams.
- Lead continuous improvement activities and project management with cross-functional teams to drive process enhancements and efficiency gains.
- Understand performance metrics and improve quality, speed, and capabilities to meet or exceed goals, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and support.
- Act as a single point of contact for assigned customers, attending face-to-face customer meetings, internal forecast meetings, sales meetings, and other relevant events to build strong relationships and drive business growth.
- Manage high-volume promotional activities by ensuring end-to-end execution of all customer requirements, leveraging your knowledge of supply chain operations and customer service principles.
- Communicate and present to all levels in the organization, providing clear and concise information to stakeholders, and influencing decision-making through data-driven insights and recommendations.
Essential Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required; undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or equivalent work experience preferred.
- At least one year of experience in a customer-facing role and one year in a call center; three years of experience in a customer-facing role and three years in a call center are preferred.
- Strong customer service, problem-solving, issue resolution, and communication skills, with the ability to build collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders and customers.
- Knowledge of supply chain, order management, and customer services processes and systems, with experience in using systems such as SAP, Oracle Transportation Management (OTM), and Microsoft Office.
- Sense of urgency, detail-oriented, and able to provide clear and thorough documentation and communication, with a commitment to continuous improvement and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SAP P08 and SAP reports, Oracle Transportation Management (OTM), Excel, and Pivot Tables, with the ability to analyze data and drive insights to inform business decisions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to express ideas precisely, persuasively, and effectively, and listen and respond appropriately to customers and stakeholders.
