About the Role
As a virtual assistant at blithequark, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, resolving issues, and ensuring seamless communication with our vendors and partners. You will be working remotely and must be available and reliable in CST and Eastern United States time zones. The ideal candidate will have experience with Guesty and/or HostAI, as well as the ability to leverage AI for comprehensive guest messaging. You must be fluent in English, with perfect grammar and a clear phone voice, and be comfortable using a VoIP to communicate with guests and vendors.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding to inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
- Screen potential guests, provide support for guests, and resolve guest issues on Airbnb, VRBO, or Marriott
- Communicate and escalate issues to management via Slack, ensuring prompt resolution and follow-up
- Achieve 5-star ratings and Superhost Status by delivering exceptional customer experiences and responding to guest reviews on Airbnb, VRBO, or other platforms
- Report maintenance and damage issues to Operations via Operto Teams, and report and submit damage claims to Guesty Shield for reimbursement
- Build, manage, and report in-house maintenance labor, with a working knowledge of business financials and accounting to assist with the onboarding of accounting systems
- Develop and maintain relationships with 3rd party vendors for tertiary market management, ensuring seamless communication and issue resolution
Essential Qualifications
- Fluency in English, with perfect grammar and a clear phone voice
- Experience with Guesty and/or HostAI, with the ability to leverage AI for comprehensive guest messaging
- Proficiency in using a VoIP to communicate with guests and vendors
- Availability and reliability in CST and Eastern United States time zones
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in customer service, hospitality, or a related field
- Knowledge of business financials and accounting principles
- Familiarity with Operto Teams and Guesty Shield
- Experience with 3rd party vendor relations and tertiary market management
