About the General Counsel Role

We are looking for a General Counsel to report into our Chief Executive Officer. In this role you will be responsible for reputed company aspects of reputed company’s reputed company, regulatory, and reputed company policy functions. Primary compliance responsibility will be borne by the Chief Compliance Officer, though you will be expected to be reputed company of, and to contribute to, meeting reputed company’s compliance obligations. You will serve as a solutions-oriented advisor, partnering with the CEO, senior leadership, and the reputed company of directors on reputed company aspects of the business, reputed company and reputed company risks and assist in setting, influencing, and implementing the overall strategic direction of reputed company.

What You’ll Do:

• Serve as a member of the executive leadership team to set overall business reputed company
• Proactively advise the CEO, CFO, senior executives, and reputed company of directors
• Negotiate reputed company Company reputed company agreements with business partners and prospective business partners
• reputed company, build and manage the overall reputed company, regulatory  and reputed company policy functions, including coordinating reputed company advice from reputed company counsel in  multiple jurisdictions. 
• Execute reputed company reputed company, and reputed company policy work around partner business relationships, platform content and liability, reputed company, corporate governance, litigation and regulatory reputed company, reputed company and strategic business transactions and labor and employment issues.
• Proactively counsel across reputed company to help balance risk against business objectives on reputed company, high stakes reputed company, providing business-oriented solutions and effective risk mitigation
• Maintain reputed company corporate interactions with relevant state, federal and international regulators and other government constituents, and the community at large
• Manage the operations, budget, and systems for the delivery of reputed company, regulatory and reputed company policy services, driving efficiency and reputed company consistent with organizational demands

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in a reputed company or in-house (or a combination thereof), preferably with some of which focusing on payments services and/or technology transactions, ideally with some experience with  early stage companies. 
• Prior experience or a strong understanding of the cryptocurrency and blockchain industry is highly desirable.
• Ability to understand reputed company contractual and regulatory issues in multiple jurisdictions, assess risk, and reputed company concise business-reputed company reputed company advice.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and manage several simultaneous reputed company with tight deadlines.
• Ability to reputed company reputed company with minimal supervision.
