Data Entry Clerk - (Remote/Hybrid)

We are looking for five or more detail-oriented and organized Data Entry Clerks to join our team on a contract basis. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity to support our critical homeowner permitting and energy compliance process. Your work will be essential in helping homeowners receive Permission to Operate (PTO) for their energy systems by ensuring the accurate and efficient transfer of vital data. This contract is anticipated to last 3 months with the potential for extensions. We are hiring on a rolling basis, so apply soon! salary: $20 - $23 per hour shift: First work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM education: High School Responsibilities Key Responsibilities • Data Collection & Entry: Retrieve homeowner information related to city permitting and compliance from our internal system (like Salesforce). Accurately input this data into the vendor portal (Permit Flow) to facilitate the permitting process. • Document Management: Collect, organize, verify, and update source documents and related information. • Information Retrieval: Actively seek, find, and download necessary documents and data. • Quality & Accuracy: Verify all work for accuracy and maintain a high level of data quality. Proactively ask questions to ensure complete and correct information. Required Skills & Qualifications • Data Entry Skills: Proven ability to accurately and efficiently perform data entry tasks. • Computer Proficiency: basic computer skills, including typing and general system navigation. • Organizational Skills: Excellent organization and the ability to manage and prioritize tasks effectively. Location: 100% Remote with an optional onsite opportunity for local candidates at our Kansas City, MO office. Schedule: 40 hours per week; core hours are ideally 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM CST, but alternative schedules may be considered. Start Date: ASAP Compensation: $20 - $23 per hour Equipment: The company will provide a laptop and monitor.
