Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
  • 1-2 years of sales and customer service experience, preferably in a retail or sales environment
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and situations
  • Strong product knowledge and ability to learn and apply new information quickly
  • Basic math skills and ability to handle cash and operate a point-of-sale system

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a retail or sales environment, preferably in a related industry such as home improvement or construction
  • Knowledge of products and services related to building materials, décor, electrical, flooring, garden, hardware, kitchen and bath, lumber, millwork, paint, plumbing, and tool rental
