[Remote] Marketing & Public Relations Consultant

They are seeking a Marketing and Public Relations Consultant who will be responsible for writing, proofing, editing, and approving all communications, while also collaborating with business owners to meet project timelines and support business goals. Responsibilities • Ensures that Sentara Health Plans communicates with its customers effectively and accurately. • Responsible for writing (technical and creative), proofing, editing, and approving all printed and electronic communications prior to distribution to key audiences (health plan members, benefits administrators, brokers, employers, and physicians). • Responsible for meeting project timelines and collaborating with health plan business owners to support their business goals. Skills • 5 years of Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, English, Communications or related field required. • Five (5) years of Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, English, Communications or a related field required. • Microsoft Office proficiency preferred. • Experience with Social Media & Web Site Copy Development strongly preferred. • Microsoft Office Experience strongly preferred. • Bachelor's level degree preferred but not required.
