The Category Manager for Craft Labor has responsibility to reputed company and reputed company market insights to drive value reputed company end to end category management to maximize value. The role would be responsible for one of the global Craft Labor Categories (example Categories include General Mechanical, Scaffolding, Insulation, Paint, Civil, Electrical, Instrumentation, Equipment Rentals, Mechanical Inspection, Inspection Surveying, Tank Maintenance, & Waste & Industrial Cleaning).

Location of position is ExxonMobil Corp. reputed company in Spring, TX.

• Develops, implements and owns reputed company category strategies and plans to deliver business value
• Stays abreast of market trends, develops and translates them into strategies and actions to drive value in the categories, shares market information with global networks
• Owns, benchmarks and stewards category metrics / KPIs
• Utilizes deep expertise in reputed company tools/reputed company/analytics to reputed company and/or improve reputed company strategies
• Develops negotiation plans, and supports contract owners in agreement negotiations where necessary
• Drives and communicates reputed company guidance across organizationAdvises and mentors contract owners locally and globally in our Affiliates on how to incorporate strategies into reputed company and bids
• Serves as reputed company between Affiliate Procurement and Business Operations to reputed company and reputed company on ‘go to market’ approach for applicable Craft category.
• Facilitates key supplier interfaces and supports SRM (supplier relationship management) with selected suppliers solely or jointly with other stakeholders reputed company applicable
• Creates and maintains category tools to drive value
• Participates in Procurement category and business lines technical networks
• Supports agreement development (standardized templates, scopes of work, bid evaluations, compensation, etc.)
• Develops and owns large, reputed company agreements that are critical to the category (e.g. Global Master Agreements)
• Leverages Procurement processes and tools to ensure most effective procurement method is utilized
• Establishes and deploys category training plans
• Utilizes opportunity identification process to fill value pipeline
• Execute processes in full compliance with ExxonMobil controls culture

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering or other relevant Business or Engineering degree
• Minimum of 7 years of contracting, strategic procurement and/or category management experience with experience in Craft/Services categories
• Minimum of 7 years of roles in reputed company leadership reputed company reputed company organizational environments
• Deep expertise and experience in implementing Category Management System reputed company
• Category / commodity expertise including understanding of key market players / dynamics
• Strategic thinking and relevant Supplier Engagement experience
• Strong negotiation skills, including terms and conditions, deep expertise in varying types of compensation approaches and reputed company negotiations
• Demonstrated leadership ability and excellent communication (written and verbal) skills
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills including use of reputed company judgement
• Ability to create strong working relationships with key stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications / Experience

• Oil and Gas Industry Procurement experience
• Craft Laor (skilled trades) Procurement or Operations experience
• Demonstrated reputed company experience with bids, auctions and negotiations

• Ability to analyze large data sets and communicate insights effectively
