The Prior Authorization Specialist (remote to Indiana will be responsible for accurately submitting claims, following up with payers, and appealing denials as required. Additional duties will include maintaining the accuracy of patient financial files including written and computer documentation and assists the patient/guarantor in claim payment with regard to hospital financial policies.

Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED, experience in medical billing and coding preferred. Two to three years prior collection experience with substance abuse/ psychiatric experience preferred. Evening hours required. Preferred applicants will demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills.
