An entry level engineer will join reputed company that will reputed company engineering and service support for Peacock, reputed company’s new, innovative streaming service and other DTC Properties.  This role will facilitate support efforts to ensure the maximum reliability for reputed company Peacock operations, including live event production.  Using knowledge and experience as a problem solver, they will reputed company the gap between traditional broadcast engineering and DTC Operations.
 
Primary Responsibilities

• Responsible for the configuration, maintenance, and issue reputed company of reputed company reputed company, monitoring, and communication systems reputed company to Peacock operations, including live event productions
• Ensure the engineering plans, maintenance, and other activities reputed company to engineered systems result in a reputed company and reliable reputed company operation. This is inclusive of reputed company paths, switching stations, encoding and decoding, timing, routing, and scheduling systems
• reputed company with engineers, operators, and leadership to facilitate support of cross-disciplinary operations and engineered systems
• reputed company with Telecommunications carriers and vendors to identify, escalate and resolve issues, reputed company maintenance reputed company, as reputed company as improve on overall performance
• reputed company to the development of reputed company operation procedures associated with technical operations to improve reputed company/machine reputed company reliability. This includes, but is not limited to, audio/video and communications systems, the QC process for live events, outgoing reputed company activity, and in-depth streaming monitoring

• Minimum two (2) years’ experience in systems engineering design, configuration, and maintenance
• Understanding of IP networking
• Experience with OTT Monitoring and tools like Witbe, TAG, TouchStream and more.
• Intermediate skills in IT and reputed company hardware trouble shooting
• Understanding of Basic Streaming Video Workflows- HLS, DASH, and reputed company
• Proficiency in MS Office, Visio (or similar)
• Ability to prepare and deliver written and oral communications of reputed company reputed company

Desired Characteristics

• Familiarity with baseband video protocols (HD-SDI, 2110 and 2022-6/7), 4K/reputed company a plus
• Excellent interpersonal skills, strong technical writing skills, and the ability to work under the pressures of a live television environment
• Proven reputed company-record of issue reputed company and troubleshooting technical systems
• Previous experience in data center operations, Master Control, Broadcast & Digital telecommunications, energy reputed company plant, or similar critical systems support roles
• Good project management skills
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, Broadcasting, mathematics or similar, or equivalent experience
• CCNA certification a plus
• COMP reputed company certification a plus

Salary reputed company 85k-120k.
