[Remote] Provider Network Service Associate

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee is excited to add a Provider Network Service Associate to their team. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented and skilled at problem-solving in a fast-paced work environment, focusing on building stronger provider relationships and contributing to a high-performing customer service team. Responsibilities • Answering inbound customer service calls. Providing entry-level troubleshooting and redirecting phone calls when appropriate. • Addressing minor provider issues and resolving minor complaints. Ensuring all customer communication is clearly documented. • Identifying provider issues and determining the appropriate course of action for effective resolution. Skills • Experience working in a call center environment (especially if related to insurance enrollment) • Experience with FACETS and/or Genesys software • High School Diploma or equivalent • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint) • Proficient oral and written communication skills • Proficient interpersonal and organizational skills • Ability to solve problems via the analysis and interpretation of conducting research • Ability to work flexible hours in order to meet the needs of the business • Able to handle multiple tasks and maintain expected performance • Solid knowledge of the commercial health insurance market Company Overview • As Tennessee's largest health plan, we've been helping Tennesseans find their own unique paths to good health for more than 70 years.
