Project Manager I – IT
Job Description:
• Establishes and manages project plans across the dimensions of schedule, cost, scope, and quality
• Understands logical dependencies, identifies critical path, communicates and escalates key tasks to team members accordingly
• Follows the defined project methodology and delivers using standard SDLC templates
• Can articulate the benefits of the SDLC
• Responsible for proactively identifying variances to plan and developing appropriate mitigation plans
• Solicits and documents project risk using risk reviews, ceremonies using the existing methodology
• Works with stakeholders to formulate corrective actions when project deliverables deviate from the work plan
• Tracks and records all expenses or costs incurred, including capital expenditures and labor costs
• Works with project sponsors to create a Communications Plan considering all project stakeholders
• Willingness to be trained in new skills and concepts
• Invests in self-development
Requirements:
• 4 to 7 years of IT work experience, including 3 or more years managing projects
• Knowledge of Agile recommended
• Related certification preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Information Systems or Engineering; or equivalent work experience
