Job Overview

As a Data Scientist at blithequark, you will play a critical role in establishing a data-driven product development culture. You will work closely with our product development team to define and track key metrics, design and execute A/B tests, and develop dashboards and reports to inform product decisions. Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the product development team as a trusted partner to identify opportunities for improvement and drive growth through data-driven insights.
• Design and interpret A/B tests to answer critical questions about the impact of model and UX changes on our products.
• Establish a data-driven product development culture by leading the definition, tracking, and operationalization of feature, product, and company-level metrics.
• Develop and socialize dashboards, reports, and other tools to enable the team and company to answer product data questions in a self-serve way.

Qualifications and Experience

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• 5+ years of experience in a quantitative role exploring highly ambiguous conditions, preferably as a founding data scientist or product analyst at a hyper-growth product company or research organization.
• Proven experience proposing, designing, and running comprehensive tests with clear insights and product recommendations using SQL and Python.
• Experience defining, implementing, and operationalizing new feature and product-level metrics from scratch.
• Excellent communication skills with demonstrated ability to communicate with product managers, engineers, and executives alike.
• Key insights beyond the paradigm of statistical significance testing.
